We’re incredibly grateful to Artworks Solutions for their creativity, generosity, and dedication in helping bring our new annex to life. Working closely with our Youth Advisory Board, Artworks designed, created, printed, and installed artwork across the entire space, collaborating with Agile Installation to make every corner feel vibrant, welcoming, and unmistakably Empire. The result is nothing short of transformational.
From the powerful photo wall celebrating Empire’s people, those who have shaped our journey, to artwork across our community kitchen, careers and community rooms, corridors, gym, and office spaces, every wall now tells a story of connection, pride, and belief.

For the young people who walk through our doors, seeing themselves, their community, and their futures reflected on these walls is incredibly powerful. The space feels alive, full of energy, and unmistakably Empire, a place where young people feel seen, valued, and inspired.
We asked some of the young people what the new space means to them:
Lily: I really love the new artwork, it's pretty cool, it was actually really fun to try and spot myself on the walls. my favourite is the big photo wall by the stairs because it's just like everyone's on there from empire. Also going to artworks and seeing it made is cool to then see it up in the new bit. The artwork has transformed the place from looking very plain to now like an actual boxing club now.
Thanks to this collaboration, the annex has become more than just a building, it’s a space alive with energy, creativity, and possibility. Every corner reflects the people, stories, and aspirations of our community, ensuring that young people feel a strong sense of pride and belonging every time they step inside.
