Last week Empire Fighting Chance hosted the first cohort of amateur boxing clubs on our new training partnership programme in association with England Boxing.  The programme will support amateur boxing clubs across England who have the aspiration to improve their community and charitable work with young people in their gym, local schools, and community.

The six amateur boxing clubs that attended the two days training at our Bristol gym were:

Priory Park Boxing Club (Dudley)

Fight Fitness Guru ABC (County Durham)

Wildcard ABC (St Helens)

Collyhurst and Moston ABC (Manchester)

Lee Jones ABC (Liverpool)

Macclesfield Boys Boxing Club (Macclesfield)

Over the two days the Empire team headed up by co-founders Jamie Sanigar and Martin Bisp went through all aspects of how the Empire Amateur Boxing Club transitioned over a 15-year period, from an amateur boxing club to form one of the UK’s largest boxing-based charities.

The programme hosted by Carlo Missirian focused on our unique coaching and personal development delivery, sports psychology, operations, data & impact and school sales. The clubs also engaged in plenty of discussion with our co-founders, the empire coaching staff and our backend operations team.
