Empire Fighting Chance Race Day - 4th September 2019
We had a fantastic day at the races for our first Empire Fighting Chance race day at Bath Racecourse, raising money for young people across the UK!
We were joined by Lord-Lieutenant of Bristol Peaches Golding, Empire Fighting Chance ambassador and ITV presenter Alex Beresford, members of Bristol Rovers and Gloucestershire Cricket, and various representatives from high profile businesses, including: Arbuthnot Latham, Lancer Scott, Mobius Works and Artworks Solutions.
As well as the fabulous racing, guests were treated to magic routines by professional magician Kieron the Mighty, who is highly skilled in his own right as well as writing tricks for David Blaine and Dynamo. Former jockey Colin Brown was the host for the day, giving his horse racing tips as well as taking guests through games of Heads and Tails, and an auction and a raffle.
We hope everyone enjoyed their day and went home with some cash in their pockets after a day of betting and generosity!
We would like to thank Bath Racecourse and the Reuben Foundation for their help on the day and support leading up to the event, as well as donating £2000 to Empire Fighting Chance!
Finally, we would also like to thank photographer Aaron Geis for his great photos from the day and for agreeing to be on hand to photograph and support our work.
