Hi everyone,

I hope you have all had a good week and are staying safe.

At Empire Fighting Chance we are offering anyone aged between 13-19 the opportunity to gain credits towards an ASDAN award in sports and fitness. This is a great opportunity to set an achievable goal and make the most of your free time.

How do I sign up?

Speak to your coach directly and they will alongside you in gaining the credits towards the qualification. If you are not in contact with a coach at the moment, message us on social media or email Aaron on [email protected]

Do I have to pay for the course?

No, the course during lockdown is FREE!

What do I have to do to gain the credits?

• 10 hours of exercise - this can be anything including jogging, yoga, or dance. Keep a log of your exercise for evidence.
  
• Complete 2 out of 4 of the following tasks;
  A) Investigate how much it would cost to buy a sports kit and equipment in the sport of your choice.
  
  B) Research either a sports team or a sports competition and display in a poster form.
  
  C) Create a profile for a sporting star. Select a sportsperson of your choice and create a factual profile on them.
  
  D) Investigate the opportunities in your local area for participation in organised sport; including indoor, team, and outdoor activities.

What do I do once I have completed the tasks?

With help from your coach in completing the tasks, bring all of your tasks together and present them in a nice flowing document. Once you have done this, sit back and wait for your certificate!
