Empire Fighting Chance isn’t just a charity fighting the impact of inequality on the lives of young people, it’s the gym that produced four world champion boxers and has spent 18 years turning young lives around using the discipline, mindset and heart of boxing. Now your team can experience the same proven methods that took fighters to the top and transformed thousands of young people facing the toughest starts in life.

What the day looks like:

• Full-day or half-day sessions in our iconic inner-city Bristol gym
• Delivered by Sam Kotadia, Chartered Sport Psychologist to Wrexham AFC’s first team (as seen on Disney+’s Welcome to Wrexham) and long-term Empire lead psychologist
• High-energy, non-contact boxing activities that get everyone involved, no experience or fitness level required
• Practical psychological tools you can take straight back to the workplace: resilience under pressure, better communication, motivation, and a connected team
• A tailored strategic session where you can cascade business goals, updates or values in a completely different environment
• Ends with young people from our Leadership Programme coaching your team through a boxing circuit – a powerful, humbling moment your people will never forget

Every Team Building Day directly funds and delivers life-changing programmes for vulnerable young people in Bristol. Your booking enables a group of young people who have faced exclusion, mental health struggles or violence to complete our 12-week Empire Leadership Programme and step up as coaches for the day. You’ll meet them, hear their stories, and see first-hand the confidence and resilience your support creates.
